One of the best things at the end of a day or week is to look back at what all you have accomplished. Way too often we ignore what we have ‘ticked off’ and get dragged down by the things we had planned for but did not get to.
Our accomplishments, how small they may be, are worthwhile reviewing and archiving. A while ago I linked to a method that logs your finished tasks to Day One.
Earlier this week one of my favourite AppleScript nerds, Ben Waldie, introduced in his latest post on TUAW a similar – if not not more beautiful – AppleScript that archives your completed OmniFocus tasks as a nice looking report to Evernote.
What I like in particular is the flexibility of the script when it comes to the scope of the report: You can choose to generate a report of today’s, yesterday’s, the current or the past week as well as the current month’s completed tasks.
